Notts County fans, players - and a legend - can be optimistic about the future of their club again

It's been a nightmare few months for Notts County and their long suffering fans, but finally it's over.

It was great to see the takeover go through as Alan Hardy finally sold up to Danish brothers  Christoffer and Alexander Reedtz.

The fans have been through so much, but not as much as the staff working there, who have gone unpaid for two months.

That's a terrible state of affairs,  so hopefully everyone can get their lives back on track now.

Another person who has felt the pain of the crisis at Meadow Lane is Les Bradd. I was actually with the Magpies legend on Friday, the day the takeover was confirmed.

It's great to see Les optimistic about the future of the club once again. He's very happy and upbeat about what is to come.

Hopefully everyone can be now. It won't be easy this season because Notts are so far behind every other team in the National League when it comes to preparations.

At least now there can be some stability after the nightmare of the last year.

Kenny Burns was speaking with Matt Davies.
