Notts County could include trialists for opening pre-season friendly at Nuneaton

Notts County could include a couple of trialists for their trip to Nuneaton tomorrow as their pre-season campaign finally gets under way.

The Magpies travel  Liberty Way for the first friendly of the summer with Neal Ardley hoping to get preparations for the National League get off to an ideal start.

A number of first-team players are set to be given a run out with the likes of  winger Enzio Boldewijn, strikers Kane Hemmings and Kristian Dennis all set to play.

Midfielder Michael Doyle is also expected to figure as is Mitch Rose,  defender Matt Tootle, goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons and utility man Andy Kellett.

There will also be a chance to see Tom Crawford in action after his return from his loan spell at AFC Fylde.

With limited experience, Notts are also expected to give minutes to a number of their young players such as Remaye Campbell, Sam Osborne, Owen Betts and Tyreece Kennedy-Williams.

There could also be some trialists included in the team, although Notts are prevented from signing anybody due to a transfer embargo.

Tickets for the game are priced and fans can pay on the turnstiles: Adult £10, over-60 £8, NUS £8, Under-16s £3.
