Notts County allay fears over signed shirts being sold on Ebay

Notts County say that a string of signed shirts - including a replica  of one worn by their famous striker Tommy Lawton - being sold on Ebay, belong to an executive box holder.

The framed  shirts, which are largely from recent seasons, appeared on the online auction site today and included pictures of Lawton’s replica that was photographed at Meadow Lane.

Fans were concerned that they belonged to the club, but Notts have  since clarified that they are owned by an employee of city business  Wonderland Memorabilia.

They specialise in signed shirts for charity donations and have raised more than £28m over the last 15 years.

A replica shirt that is framed and identical to the one that Lawton wore for Notts can be bought for £175.

Other framed shirts that are available are ones from the 2013/14 season which comes with the signature of Aston Villa star Jack Grealish who spent time on loan at the club.

It is priced at £145. Others cost £125, including a Mike Whitlow match-worn shirt.
