Nottinghamshire Police reveal why air ambulance landed in Bestwood

An air ambulance landed after in Bestwood after a man suffered a heart attack, Nottignhamshire Police have revealed.

The helicopter landed near Beckhampton Road to allow a specialist doctor to treat the man, who suffered a heart attack while at the Elmbridge Shops.

The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday, January 30, and the man was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre for treatment.

Nottinghamshire Police said: "Paramedics and Ops Support Police Officers attended. A doctor arrived by air ambulance.

"After further treatment the man was taken to QMC by ambulance."
