Nottinghamshire Police closed road after crash in Stapleford involving parked vehicle

A road was closed while police dealt with a crash involving two vehicles. There was a police presence in Warren Avenue, Stapleford, after the incident which took place just after 3pm on Friday, July 7.

The force say a car had crashed into a parked vehicle - there were no injuries reported as a result of the collision. The road was closed while crews worked at the scene and has since reopened.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Emergency services were called to Warren Avenue, Stapleford, at around 3.05pm today (7 July) after reports of a crash. A car had collided with another vehicle which was parked on the road.

"No injuries have been reported. Police closed the road while the scene was made safe and we would like to thank motorists for their patience."

The road is reported to be open again now.
