Nottinghamshire Police CCTV appeal over city fight which left man in hospital

Police have released images of two women who they want to speak to in connection with a Nottingham city centre fight which left a man in hospital. A man in his 30s was injured after the fight on Thurland Street on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

Officers were called to the street just before 4.30am after reports of a man being assaulted. The man's injuries were not deemed to be life-threatening.

Nottinghamshire Police has now released images of two women who officers want to speak to as part of their investigation. Those who recognise the women are asked to get in touch with police by calling 101, quoting incident number 108 of November 5, 2022, or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Detective Constable Helen Pannell, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Thankfully the victim did not receive any life-altering injuries but this assault will have understandably left him not only with physical injuries but also affected him emotionally as well. We believe [the two women] have vital information that could really help with our inquires so would urge them to come forward or anyone who recognises them to contact us."
