Nottinghamshire park taped off over bank holiday due to health and safety concerns

A Nottinghamshire park has been taped off over the bank holiday due to health and safety concerns. Part of the Hook park in Lady Bay is currently sealed off, with Rushcliffe Borough Council announcing the closure of the toddler area on Friday, May 26.

The council said the health and safety issue would keep the section of the park "closed until further notice". It added that council workers were working on resolving the problem.

A Rushcliffe Borough Council spokesperson added: "The toddler area of The Hook is currently taped off and closed due to equipment that we are replacing.
