A person from Nottinghamshire has been fined for breaching Covid restrictions after being found at East Midlands Airport.
The driver was found at the perimeter gates by the airport's police force yesterday, Tuesday, March 2.
They had travelled from Nottinghamshire and had other people in the car, however they were not all from the same household.
A spokesperson for force said: "Another motorist issued with a covid ticket after being found at East Midlands Airport perimeter gates.
"The vehicle had travelled from Nottinghamshire with occupants from different households."
Police based at the airport in Castle Donington have previously warned people to stay at home and not visit the airport unless they are there for essential reasons.
They say plane spotting, or any other type of recreation at the airport, is in breach of the restrictions set out by the government.
Police issued another ticket to a man from Derbyshire who had travelled to the airport on Sunday, February 28.
