For some house hunters in February, Nottinghamshire proved to be a treasure trove of low-priced housing.
One buyer snapped up a terrace in Warsop for £40k; while terraces and flats in the rest of the county went for just under and over the £60k mark.
The city and northern districts of the Notts were the areas where most of these lower priced property sales occurred.
Here are the least expensive sales in our area for February
- Vickers Street, Warsop, Mansfield - a terrace house that sold for £40,000
- An apartment in St Crispins Court, Stockwell Gate in Mansfield, sold for £57,500
- Fifth Avenue, Forest Town, Mansfield, a terrace house, sold for £59,500
- Princes Street, Mansfield, a terrace house, sold for £63,300
- Isandula Road, Basford, Nottingham, a terrace house, sold for £64,000
- Station Street, Kirkby In Ashfield, a terrace house, sold for £66,000
- Winkburn Road, Mansfield, a flat house, sold for £66,000
If you are in the market to buy a house this month, there are still homes for sale around the £40k mark in Mansfield.
A flat in Bamford Drive, Mansfield is for sale at £39,950 with Newton Fallowell (01623 889091) while a two-bed end terrace in Victoria Street, Mansfield (for sale with Agent House 020 8022 4204) has a price tag of £45,000.
But if you really want to get even more for your money you'll need to head much further north.
Up in County Durham a terrace (5 Greenhills Terrace in Wheatley Hill) sold for £19,000 while a terrace in Blackhall Colliery, Hartlepool, fetched just £19,000.
According to the Land Registry, 23,132 residential sales have been registered from February 2019.
