Nottingham weather forecast hour-by-hour as pubs open their beer gardens from Monday, April 12

Nottingham will be open for business from Monday, April 12, as bars and pubs open up their beer gardens to let revellers in for the first time in months.

Nottinghamshire Police are encouraging people to make a booking in advance to avoid disappointment as there will be limited capacity.

The rule of six or two household rule still applies and everyone aged 16 and over will be asked for their contact details on entry. Non-essential retail will also be open from Monday.

One worry raised by pubs and bars is the weather and how that might impact on how many people decide to venture out.

Monday's forecast is looking good with sunny intervals changing to cloudy by lunchtime. Average temperature throughout the day, according to the Met Office, is expected to reach 9C.

The forecast is also looking good for the rest of the week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are also expected to be sunny with cloudy intervals, with an average temperature of 10C.

But the weather really starts to pick up on Saturday, April 17, with a full day of sunny temperatures from 7am to 7pm before it turns cloudy. The average temperature on this day looks set to be 12C.

Here is an hour-by-hour Nottingham weather forecast for Monday, April 12:

11am to noon - the sun will be out from 11am but will start to turn cloudy at around noon, when most pubs are expected to open their doors.

1pm to 2pm - it is expected to be cloudy but no chance of rain

3pm to 5pm - cloudy but no rain expected. Temperatures at 8C.

6pm to 7pm - sunny spells but still cloudy

8pm to 11pm - cloudy - temperatures from 7C to 4C by 11pm.
