Freezing temperatures have set in for the day in Nottingham as a cold snap continues - but much warmer weather is on the way, according to forecasters.
The Met Office predicts it will not get above 0C in Nottingham on Saturday, February 13.
Lows of -3C are expected - but it's more likely to feel like -8C due to the wind bite.
Sunny spells should make for some dry and crisp conditions and it's not looking like it will snow in Nottingham city.
On Monday, temperatures are predicted to shoot up to 11C.

Cold, frosty start, with brisk winds but also plenty of sunshine. Cloud will thicken from the west, however hazy sunshine likely persisting for many eastern parts. Dry for most, but very isolated light snow showers cannot be completely ruled out later. Maximum temperature 1 °C.

Cloudy and windy, with a chance of brief snow showers. Temperatures not as low as recently, but still cold and frosty with icy stretches. Rain or sleet possible by dawn. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Cold, windy, with early sleet turning to rain as it spreads east. Further, heavier rain following later. Where rain falls onto frozen ground, icy conditions are expected. Less cold overnight. Maximum temperature 3 °C.
