Weather experts have predicted a mixed week in Nottingham with sun and rainy spells expected in the city. The Met Office is expecting overcast conditions to change to heavy showers by the morning of April 6 in Nottingham.
The early hours of Wednesday, April 6 will be cloudy but this will give way at around 10am to heavy showers which will continue into the afternoon. Some sunshine will be visible in the day and temperatures will reach 12c, the Met Office also predict wind gusts of up to 36 miles an hour.
Thursday, April 7 will see sunny intervals change to cloudy weather by lunchtime, according to the experts. The high temperature will be 9c and the low 2c, with showers and wind gusts of up to 48 miles an hour predicted.

On Friday, April 8 cloudy weather in the morning is expected to be followed by light showers in the afternoon. Although more showers are predicted the temperatures will remain roughly the sane with a high of 10c and a low of 2c, and wind speeds are predicted to fall.
This weekend is largely predicted to follow the same pattern of cloud with sunny intervals. Saturday, April 9 is expected to start off sunny but change to more overcast at lunchtime, although the Met Office have said that unlike earlier in the week the chance of rainfall is low.
The cloudy weather is set to continue on Sunday, April 10, with the clouds changing to light rain by the afternoon. Temperatures are set to be mild with a low of 7c and a high of 10c predicted.
