Loughborough University came out on top at first place whilst the University of Oxford came third.
Nottingham Trent University has climbed up by one rank in this year's ratings.
Cardiff Metropolitan University was the biggest mover, climbing 51 places from 58th last year.
The reviewers rate multiple categories including course quality, accommodation and student social life.
University Compare also asked students if they would recommend their university to a friend.
Nottingham Trent University was ranked third best for student life and course quality.
The university also had a 98 per cent recommendation rate.
