A 33-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a huge fire at Nottingham railway station.
British Transport Police (BTP) said the suspect was arrested in Derby in connection with the blaze, which took hold shortly before rush-hour on 12 January.
"The woman, who was arrested on suspicion of arson, is currently in custody," the statement said.
"Inquiries are ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for information."
Sixty firefighters were involved in tackling the blaze, which started in a block of toilets before spreading to the main concourse and roof.
Police said at the time they believed it had been started deliberately. There were no reported injuries.
The station was closed all day causing train cancellations and travel disruption for thousands of passengers.
It reopened at 4.45am the following day after emergency services and structural engineers deemed the building was safe.
The senior investigating officer, Det Insp Granville Sellers, said detectives were particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was at the station between 5am and 6.30am on that Friday.
"It may have seemed insignificant at the time but it could prove vital to the investigation," the statement added.
