Nottingham Splendour festival 2022: Food and drink announced

Splendour Festival is set to return for 2022 on Saturday, 23 and Sunday 24, with a fantastic lineup which will see headliners Supergrass and The Human League. The festival takes place at Wollaton Park over two days.

When it comes to festivals, it can be stressful worrying about what food might be on offer, especially for those with dietary requirements or vegans.

The team at Splendour has announced the lineup of food and drink vendors that are set to join the event on the July weekend. Fun fact, the last time the festival took place, festival-goers drank enough beer to fill 150 bathtubs.

When it comes to food and drink, there is a huge array of choices from burgers, ice creams, pizza and even award-winning Indian cuisine. There will also be some vegan, vegetarian and healthy food offerings on offer too.

Nottingham's favourite 200 Degree coffee will also be at the event helping to keep festival-goers ready for the evening ahead. Doughnotts will also provide their mouthwatering treats on site too including their best selling premium doughnuts that include biscuits, sweets and tasty fillings.

Foodie fan favourite restaurants such as MemSaab, Nottingham Farmed Gourmet Burgers, Pokewaves, Hog and Roast will also join the food line-up.

If you are worried about vegan options, there are lots of vendors to choose from along with healthier options. Some of the vendors include Mich Masala, Wood Fired Pizzas, Loaded Fries and vegan H van will also be on-site along with Boxed Drinks LTD Coffee Trucks.

The award-winning event has also got the beer queues covered too as there will be a total of 10 different bars at the event including the VIP area. The bars will stock Thornbridge taps in the VIP and arena areas for thirsty music fans. For those who aren't drinking, there will be non-alcoholic options including Lucky Saint.

For anyone who likes a slice of pizza or two at a festival, there will be multiple options including Power to the Pizza and Wood Fired Pizza. If pizza isn't your thing then jacket potatoes will also be available.

Lighter options include Pokewaves who have a restaurant at the top of Victoria Center. Hawaiian poke bowls are one of the biggest food trends in recent months as they combine fresh ingredients, raw fish and sweet sticky rice with different sauces.

If you are craving a sweet treat then Mr Whippy will be onsite with a selection of ice cream, lollies and frozen drinks including slushies. Donuts and Coffee will also be sold in biodegradable packaging so you don't need to feel guilty about throwing the packaging away.

Hog and Roast will be bringing an entire pig on a spit where visitors can grab some BBQ pork. If you prefer other meat then there will be beef brisket, pulled pork all served in rolls with the option of tasty loaded fries on the side.

The international food offerings will include german sausages, Chinese street food van and noodle bars. There will also be a place to grab some cheesy nachos.
