Nottingham taco lovers get their hands on one of America's most successful fast food innovations of all time for free today - Doritos Locos Tacos.
Taco Bell’s iconic crunchy taco combined with the bold flavour of Doritos Tangy Cheese has become the most popular product in the Mexican-inspired brand’s 50-year history.
To celebrate National Taco Day (October 4) the restaurant in Angel Row will be giving away the taco filled with premium seasoned beef, crisp shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese on a first come, first served basis.
Taco Bell founder, Glen Bell, has been recognized for his ‘Recipes for Success’. He always listened to the consumer and was an explorer in terms of helping shape Taco Bell around what the fans wanted. For a while now super fans have been excited about the potential new launch.
"Taco Bell fans have been salivating for its release in the UK since the Doritos Locos Tacos was launched in the US in 2012 and quickly became a global media phenomenon.
"Now it’s here by popular demand and we have no doubt that UK fans are going to love the amazing combination between two much-loved brands," according to Pat O’Toole, senior marketing director at the Away From Home Channel.
A limited edition Doritos Locos Tacos box with Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme, two regular tacos, cinnamon twists and fries is also available for £5.
