Nottingham's Doughnotts shop to launch limited edition badge of best-selling doughnut

A limited edition badge of Doughnotts' most popular doughnut will go on sale at the Nottingham shop tomorrow (Saturday, September 29) - and if there's a demand they have plenty more ideas for merchandise.

The Avocadough badge was designed by Nottingham staff member Rhian Langford and is based on a doughnut which resembles an avocado, complete with green icing and a 'stone'.

Daniel Byrne, the company's marketing manager, said: "Only a small batch has been produced for this first run to see if people like the idea.

"I hope it’s popular because we’ve got some other great ideas for badges, tea-towels and T-shirts that I’d love to do.”

The badge, available from the shop in King Street, is priced £6.50 for the badge or £9 for the badge and one of the Avocadough doughnuts.

“I’m so proud to have my design sold in the Doughnotts stores and I hope the customers love them as much as I do," said Rhian.
