OK, so while it's not quite time to deck the halls, munch a mince pie or steal a kiss under the mistletoe, the festive season is lurking on the horizon... like it or not.
Indeed the opening times and dates of this year's Winter Wonderland in Old Market Square have now been confirmed, so get out your diaries and pop the dates in.
Last year Slab Square once again welcomed the French ski lodge and ice rink alongside the Bavarian-style Christmas market, courtesy of organisers the Mellors Group.
For the first time ever there was a toboggan ride taking thrill-seekers down King Street too.
Opening on Thursday, November 15, shopping stalls will then remain open until December 24 while the bars will keep their doors open until New Year's Day.

Christmas market: 10am-6pm, ever day, late night shopping, December 17-22, 10am-8pm
Sur La Piste ski lodge: 10am-11pm, Monday-Thursday, 10am-midnight, Friday-Saturday, 10am-10pm, Sunday
Ice bar: Sessions from 1.15pm-10pm
Ice rink: 11am-8pm, Sunday-Monday (except Christmas Eve and Boxing Day), 11am-9pm, Friday-Saturday
