Nottingham restaurants offering Eat Out to Help Out-style 50 percent off deals

Food lovers have a chance to get 2-for-1 on meals or 50 percent off food at some of their favourite spots in Nottingham now restaurants have reopened for alfresco dining.

Last August the Government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme enabled customers to get cash off but this time around the deal isn't available.

However, more than 400 restaurants opening for alfresco dining across the UK are featured on tastecard - which gives new and existing members the opportunity to take advantage of some amazing deals.

Foodies have the chance to get 2-for-1 on meals or 50 percent off food at some of their favourite chains including Bella Italia at the Cornerhouse and Prezzo in Forman Street.

It's not only chains. Discounts are also available on food from the Cock and Hoop pub at the Lace Market Hotel in High Pavement, but not on Friday and Saturday.

New members can try tastecard for free for 60 days (£5.99 a month after that).

The 60-day free trial also offers 50 percent off pizza delivery and 10 percent off delivery and collection from selected businesses.

Once a member you can download the app and enter your location to see who is offering the deals near you.

Tastecard can also be used in dozens of Nottinghamshire restaurants when they reopen for dine-in, expected in May, including Venezia in Upper Saxondale and Frankie & Benny's, Chino Latino and Zizzi in Nottingham.
