It's a long, long time until January's payday and if you overspent at Christmas you'll be feeling the pinch. But it doesn't mean you can't treat yourself.
There are some bargain deals to be had at restaurants across Nottingham during the financial drought - and one of the most generous is at Red's True Barbecue in Queen Street.
The home of barbecue is offering 51 per cent throughout January, all day from Sunday to Thursday.
So, if you're craving a Pit Burger or a meat feast with pork ribs, sausage, chicken, wings, brisket and burnt ends, there's no better time to get stuck in.
"Everyone does 50% off in January, so we're doing one better," said restaurant bosses.
The catch?
Tables must be pre-booked through a special link: bit.ly/redsjannotts. Don't book through the normal way on the website because you'll have to pay full price.
The offer is available on food but not drinks and the discount doesn't apply to existing deals such as the kids' menu, express lunch, 241 cocktails and emergency services discount.
