Nottingham pub celebrates National Chicken Wing Day with wings for just 25p

It doesn't matter if you're left wing, or right wing, National Chicken Wing Day is something everyone can agree on.

Nottingham pub Horn in Hand, in Goldsmith Street, will be selling wings for just 25p each, all day long, on Monday July 29.

Chicken wing connoisseurs can choose from a wide range of flavours, with sauces such as sweet and sticky BBQ, all-time favourite buffalo, hot and spicy ghost chilli or aromatic Asian katsu curry.

Veggies and vegans haven't been forgotten. There are specially created cauliflower wings for them to scoff.

Those who don’t take wings half-heartedly can challenge themselves to 25, 50 or even 100 wings, and for the ultimate experience, you can mix-and-match the flavours.

The is one of Stonegate's Common Room venues, which have sold more than three million chicken wings across the country so far this year.

A pub in Leeds sold more than 5,000 in one day - a record the Horn in Hand is hoping to smash on Monday.
