Nottingham primary school children self-isolating after positive Covid case

Children from a Nottingham primary school are self-isolating at home after a positive Covid case was recorded.

The case was confirmed at Rufford Primary and Nursery School in Bulwell.

It has meant a 'bubble' of children from the Foundation 2 class are having to self-isolate at home.

The school's headteacher confirmed the situation to Nottinghamshire Live on Monday, July 12.

Meanwhile, children from two year groups and staff at a Nottinghamshire school have been told to stay at home after a positive Covid case was confirmed.

Wadsworth Fields Primary School confirmed on Sunday evening (July 11) it had a positive case confirmed causing it to close Year 5/6 to all pupils and staff in those classes.

Parents and carers will be informed via text or email of the need for their child to self-isolate should someone in their 'Bubble' subsequently test positive.
