Nottingham Pride 2019 - date, times and parade route confirmed

Get ready to roll out your rainbows, Nottingham Pride is on the horizon with this year's date, times and parade route now confirmed by organisers.

Last year 7,000 people turned out for the city celebration making in Nottingham's biggest LGBTIQA+ event to date.

It returns for 2019 on Saturday, July 27.

As in previous years, the Pride march will leave from outside Marks and Spencer on the corner of Lister Gate and Castle Gate and those looking to join in are asked to gather from 10am.

The route then takes revellers through the city centre to Hockley where the event will continue with live entertainment, information stalls, music and art up to 6.30pm.

Last summer The Voice and X Factor star Amrick Channa, Rob Green, Toyah Wilcox and a Britney Spears impersonator entertained the crowd and this year's line-up will soon be announced.

Organisers are currently looking for volunteers and taking stall-holder applications. To apply visit nottinghamshirepride.co.uk.
