Tennis fans are in for a treat next month as former World number one, Andy Murray heads to the city.
The 34-year-old is ranked 123rd in the world.
Murray has added the ATP Challenger Tour event to his schedule.
Nottingham Tennis Centre, where the event will be played, confirmed the news on its website saying the ATP Challenger Tour event will be played from Saturday, June 5, until Sunday, June 13.
The Scott, who has been plagued by injuries, will kick off his grass-court campaign at the Nottingham Open.
Also set to compete in Nottingham are former Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson and Britain’s Liam Broady.

On Sunday June 6, you can buy centre court tickets - Adults £6.00, children are free.
On Monday, June 2, adult prices start from £22.00 up to £28.00, with children's tickets from £10.00 to £15.00
Tuesday, June 8, adults are charged from £24.00 to £32.00, children £10.00 to £15.00
Wednesday, June 9, adults £30.00 - £38.00, children £14.00 - £18.00
Thursday, June 10, adults £30.00 to £38.00 , children £14.00 - £18.00
Friday, June 11, adults £ £36.00 to £44.00, children £16.00 - £26.00
