Home improvements firm Stormclad, which has its headquarters in Basford, Nottingham, has appointed Paul Young as its new sales and marketing director.
Having previously worked at the firm as a sales designer he returns to the company to oversee the sales and marketing teams and "to lead the company’s ambitious strategy for growth".
Paul, who lives in Nottingham, aims to train and coach existing sales designers, passing on his experience and knowledge of niche home improvement products such as timber windows, solid roofs for conservatories and timber-look UPVC windows.
He said: "Having previously worked at Stormclad, I was very keen to come back on board in a new role to help drive the company forward. The firm has great potential and I believe that my passion and enthusiasm to introduce new products, consolidate existing products and improve services to customers will contribute to the company’s vision for growth and brand development.
"I have been made very welcome by the directors John Evans and John Brocklehurst and by all staff and sales designers, and in the first few weeks of starting here, I can already see a change in the atmosphere throughout the company.
"Although there is a long way to go, I am confident that the next few months will show immediate growth, both in sales and in consumer confidence in the company."
