Police say they have recovered a vehicle suspected to have been involved in a hit-and-run in Nottingham as investigations continue.

Officers are now actively seeking a suspect in relation to the incident, which happened at the junction of Withern Road and Bradfield Road, in the Broxtowe Estate, at around 3.15pm on Tuesday, April 27.

A grey series 200 Mercedes, believed to have been involved in the incident, has now been recovered.

The woman victim was not seriously injured and has now been released from hospital.

Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and extensive enquiries have already been undertaken.

"We have seized a vehicle we believe to have been involved and are now seeking a named suspect in this case.

"Happily, the victim did not suffer serious injuries in this incident and has now been released from hospital.

“We have already spoken to several witnesses but would urge anyone else who saw what happened to please get in touch by calling Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 417 of 27 April 2021, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

"We’d also like to hear from any motorists who may have recorded dash-cam footage of the incident.”
