Nottingham from above: What you can see from the top of the city's tallest building

With millions and millions of pounds being pumped into the regeneration of the south side of the city, the skyline of Nottingham is set to change dramatically.

With plans for a new Broadmarsh Centre, bus station, development of Unity Square and a number of office blocks and student accommodation going up across the city in the next few years, Nottingham will never be the same again.

To capture a snapshot of the city ahead of this huge transformation, we scaled the heights of the city's tallest building to see what the view was like.

Unsurprisingly, it's pretty spectacular.

With historic buildings such as the Council House and Nottingham Castle dominating the skyline, to newer developments such as Marco Island, the city has a number of impressive landmarks.

But you can also see as far as the University of Nottingham campus on University Boulevard, and even Ratcliffe Power Station near the M1.

Have a look through our gallery and see what life is like at Nottingham's highest point.

From bars and nightlife, to culture and restaurants: These are the things you love most about living in Nottingham
