Nottingham Forest youngster Virgil Gomis has joined Macclesfield Town on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old Frenchman became Sol Campbell's fourth signing of the day at Moss Rose as the transfer window continues to roll on for clubs in League One and League Two.
During a loan spell with Notts County last season, who missed out on Football League survival thanks to a late upturn in form by Macclesfield themselves, Gomis scored just a single goal in ten league outings as he featured predominantly as a substitute.
Prior to that he had a loan spell in non-league with Braintree Town.

He is the first of what is expected to be a cast of departures to the lower leagues over the next three weeks and Sabri Lamouchi looks to offload players from what is the biggest first-team squad in the division.
Forest are hoping to find moves for Jason Cummings, Zach Clough and Gboly Ariyibi, amongst others.
