Nottingham Forest XI v Derby County revealed as Sabri Lamouchi makes eight changes

Manager Sabri Lamouchi made eight changes for Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup tie with arch-rivals Derby County at the City Ground from the side which won so impressively away at Fulham on Saturday.

The Frenchman opted to ring the changes throughout his Nottingham Forest side after a hectic schedule in the Championship and Preston to come on Saturday.

Arguably the headline being the return of Joao Carvalho to the substitutes’ bench, though there were starts for Yuri Ribeiro, John Bostock, Brennan Johnson, Albert Adomah and Rafa Mir.

Brice Samba kept his place in goal with Aro Muric remaining the reserve stopper, and there was a debut in the East Midlands clash for youngster Johnson.

After his brace at the weekend, Lewis Grabban was dropped to the bench where he was joined by Carvalho, Carl Jenkinson, Sammy Ameobi, Tiago Silva and a first appearance for Chema Rodriguez.

Michael Dawson and Ben Watson were both completely rested with the Championship in mind, while Lolley was included despite suffering from a foot problem which ruled him out of the draw at Charlton a week ago.
