Nottingham Forest winger Arvin Appiah has reportedly passed a medical and is set to sign a five-year contract with Spanish side Almeria.
The 18-year-old is understood to be on the verge of joining the La Liga 2 club in a deal worth in the region of £8m.
And Spanish newspaper Diario de Almeria say he has passed his “medical examination at the Quiron clinic in the capital this morning”.
They tweeted a picture of Appiah, adding: “Throughout the afternoon it is planned to formalise the hiring of (Appiah) by @U_D_Almeria and sign a contract for 5 seasons.”
Appiah has played just once for the Reds under Sabri Lamouchi this season, in the 1-0 Carabao Cup win over Fleetwood Town at the City Ground.
He only made his debut for the club last October - against Burton Albion in the same competition, when he came off the bench to score in a 3-2 defeat.
He went on to make six further appearances last term, and signed a new long-term contract in January.
Appiah could be one of several players to leave Trentside today as the transfer window closes for Leagues One and Two and a number of leagues across Europe.
Midfielder Liam Bridcutt is also understood to be one of those heading elsewhere, with a loan switch to Bolton Wanderers looking likely.
