Nottingham Forest “will fight to keep” Joe Lolley, amid Aston Villa reportedly preparing a £10m bid for the Reds ace.
Villa – the team Lolley supported as a boy – are said to be targeting the winger as part of their summer recruitment ready for their return to the Premier League.
But Lolley signed a new long-term deal at the City Ground back in February and recently spoke of his commitment to the club.
He was on Villa’s radar in January, when, it is understood, they asked about the 26-year-old’s availability.
They are said to have been knocked back at the time, however, and Sky Sports report Forest will continue to “fight to keep” the man who was crowned their Player of the Season after a sparkling campaign in the Garibaldi.

Lolley said earlier this month that he saw his future with the Reds, having signed fresh terms for Martin O'Neill's side until 2023.
Asked if he saw his future being at the club, he said at the time: “I do, yes.
“I signed a deal in February. I signed that because I want to stay here, because I want to be here. I do not see that changing, to be honest.
“I know football is a crazy game in that respect. But yes, I see my future here and I don’t really see that changing.
“I have bought a house around Nottingham and I enjoy the area. I like it here and I love the club. I enjoy playing my football here. I am not looking to change or anything like that. I am happy here.”
