Nottingham Forest 'want £15m' for Joe Lolley

Nottingham Forest are said "to want £15m" for Joe Lolley.

The Reds ace has once again been linked with his boyhood club Aston Villa, who were understood to be ready to launch a £10m bid this summer, after winning promotion back to the Premier League by beating Forest's arch-rivals Derby County in the play-off final at Wembley.

But The Sun on Sunday report Forest have put a £15m price-tag on 26-year-old Lolley, who is under contract at the City Ground until 2023.

A £15m deal would equal the club record transfer fee received by the Reds, who sold Britt Assombalonga to Middlesbrough for that figure in July 2017.

Lolley was asked about his future only last month, and he said: “I signed a deal in February. I signed that because I want to stay here, because I want to be here. I do not see that changing, to be honest.

“I know football is a crazy game in that respect. But yes, I see my future here and I don’t really see that changing."
