Nottingham Forest v Cardiff City: Sabri Lamouchi and Neil Harris name their starting XIs

Nottingham Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi has made one change to his starting XI for the game against Cardiff City.

Albert Adomah is the man to miss out having started the 4-0 win against QPR on Wednesday. His place goes to Joao Carvalho, who came off the bench to score a brilliant third goal in west London.

Carvalho is set to line-up as the number 10 with Joe Lolley moving out wide to his more familiar right-side berth, with Sammy Ameobi again deployed down the left, as Forest aim to halt a run of four straight home defeats against the Bluebirds.

Despite concerns over the fitness of goalkeeper Brice Samba, he’s fit to keep his place, though Yuri Ribeiro doesn’t make it and Jack Robinson will once again play at left-back, alongside Joe Worrall, Tobias Figueiredo and Matty Cash, who signed a new long-term contract this week.

Adomah drops to the bench, where he’s joined by John Bostock, Rafa Mir, Alfa Semedo, Dawson, Chema, though there is a goalkeeping change.

Jordan Smith replaces Manchester City loanee Aro Muric.

Forest: Samba, Cash, Worrall, Figueiredo, Robinson, Watson ©, Silva, Lolley, Carvalho, Ameobi, Grabban. Subs: Smith, Bostock, Mir, Semedo, Dawson, Chema, Adomah.
