Nottingham Forest update fans on season ticket options for 2020/21 Championship season

Nottingham Forest have given an update to the fans on the options available to season ticket holders for the 2020/21 season.

Fans have not been able to attend matches at the City Ground since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Original plans meant that fans were to be allowed back into stadiums, at a reduced capacity, this month, but they have since been halted by the government after infection rates rose again.

Before the season, Forest season ticket holders were given two options regarding their ticket for this season, with anticipation that fans would be back in during the early part of the season.

However, the plans have now changed, with there uncertainty over when fans will be allowed to return to stadiums.

Forest have therefore updated the options available to fans, with fans choosing option 1 receiving more benefits including a £10 voucher to spend on kits and further retail promotions.

Fans who chose option 2 will continue to receive a rolling refund.

“Nottingham Forest would like to place on record their thanks to all supporters who renewed their season cards and have subsequently provided the club with their preferred option for the 2020-21 season,” read a statement on the official website.

“The club fully respects the challenge many fans are facing whether that is related to health, wellbeing, financial or other.
