Dwight Gayle price tag revealed

Dwight Gayle will reportedly cost any team that wants to sign him £8 million.

According to The Sun, the striker - who has been linked with Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion - will be sold by Newcastle United only at that price.

And those demands from Steve Bruce's side have dissuaded some clubs from getting involved in a deal for Gayle, it is said.

Leeds United have also been linked with a move for the 29-year-old.

Leeds United set to win Che Adams race

Leeds United are reportedly in pole position to sign Forest transfer target Che Adams.

According to The Athletic , the Southampton striker is to choose Leeds with Forest also interested in the former Ilkeston striker.

Adams has struggled for Saints this season and is yet to score a goal for the club he cost £15 million when he joined from Birmingham City in the summer.

His 22-goal season for Blues last campaign prompted Ralph Hasenhuttl's side to fork out the big-money sum for the 23-year-old, but hasn't netted despite playing in 19 games this season.

Forest receive Glenn Murray update

Forest appear to have been given a boost in the transfer market, with the rumour that reported target Glenn Murray will be allowed to leave Brighton & Hove Albion this month.

The Reds are one of a number of clubs credited with an interest in the veteran frontman during this month’s transfer window.

Now The Sun on Sunday are claiming that Murray will be allowed to leave the Seagulls on a free transfer, should a club in the Championship choose to sign him.

However, the report adds that if a club in the Premier League wanted to sign Murray, then Brighton would demand a fee of around £500,000.
