Nottingham Forest transfer target in talks with Celtic - report

Former Charlton Athletic striker Lyle Taylor is reported to be in talks with Scottish champions Celtic.

Nottingham Forest have been linked with a summer move for the front man, who is a free agent after his contract with Charlton expired.

Forest are said to be among at least 10 clubs chasing the 30-year-old.

Celtic's arch rivals Rangers were one of those clubs but this week bolstered their attacking options by signing Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten.

Now Sky Sports is reporting that Celtic are in talks with Taylor about a move to Parkhead.

Taylor scored 11 goals in 22 Championship outings for Charlton this season.

He has previously played in Scotland for Falkirk and Partick Thistle.
