Nottingham Forest weighing up striker transfer - report

Nottingham Forest are still deliberating over Tyler Walker's Lincoln City future, according to reports.

NottinghamshireLive's sister title, LincolnshireLive, say the Reds are undecided about bringing him back to the City Ground or letting him stay at Sincil Bank.

Walker would come back as back-up to Lewis Grabban, Forest's sole senior striker but - should the Reds bring in a forward this month - it could be seen as a better option to let Walker stay at the Imps.

The report adds that any move to bring the 23-year-old back to the City Ground would see the Reds have to pay a fee to Lincoln, due to the terms agreed when Walker joined the club on a season-long loan back in August.

Walker is on his sixth loan spell away from Forest and has scored five goals in 28 matches for Michael Appleton's side, who are in 12th place in League One after 27 games.

Lamouchi is hoping to bring in a striker this month, with Glenn Murray and Dwight Gayle mentioned in the gossip columns.

Nuno da Costa's name has resurfaced today, the 28-year-old linked with a move to the City Ground again following reports suggesting he could be an option last week.

Walker, the son of Forest legend Des, graduated from Gary Brazil's academy and has been at the club since 2006.
