Nottingham Forest to sign Premier League winger on loan after Olympiacos move - report

Nottingham Forest are said to be set to bring in winger Kamil Grosicki before the international transfer window closes tonight.

Grosicki is believed to be among the players West Bromwich Albion are looking to move on, with boss Slaven Bilic keen to trim his squad.

The 32-year-old has featured once for the Baggies this season, in a Carabao Cup victory over Harrogate Town, and has not been involved in the Premier League.

The Reds have made 12 signings so far this summer but are still keen to strengthen their wide options, with Grosicki having also been on their radar before.

Football Insider claim the Poland international will leave the Hawthorns to join Olympiacos on a permanent contract, before then being loaned straight to Forest, who are also owned by Evangelos Marinakis.

The Greek side have reportedly had a bid of £1-1.5m accepted, which will then see Grosicki head to the City Ground on loan.

There remains doubt over the future of Reds head coach Sabri Lamouchi, following a woeful start to the campaign.

But the Frenchman said after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Bristol City that a winger remained on his wanted list, despite looking to cut numbers.

“When I was asked a week or two weeks ago, I said, we were probably looking for one winger,” he said.

“In this position, we are short, in my humble opinion. We need players to play and to make the difference.

“Joe Lolley is not ready and I put Alex Mighten in, who is young. He created and he played so well.”
