Nottingham Forest to make striker linked with Leeds United a 'priority' - report

Nottingham Forest continue to be linked with striker Ibrahim Sissoko.

And the Reds have reportedly made the Niort striker, who is also said to be interesting other Championship clubs, a 'priority' this month.

Besiktas have also been touted as a possible destination for the 24-year-old, according to reports in France.

RMC, via Sport Witness, say that Sissoko wants to stay at French second tier side Niort until the end of the current campaign, though.

Sissoko was linked with Forest and fellow Championship promotion-chasers Leeds United at the beginning of last month.

The frontman has hit nine goals in 18 games for Niort this season, netting an impressive eight goals in the opening 14 matches of the season.

He's not scored since November 22, going three games without a goal, but the French league has paused for their annual winter break with the last match played on December 21.
