Nottingham Forest could face competition from arch rivals Derby County for Gavin Massey.
The Reds were first linked with the Wigan winger in March and Football Insider say both they and the Rams are now keen.
The 26-year-old will be available on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Massey started his career at Watford and had loan spells at Wealdstone, Yeovil Town and Colchester United.
He then signed a permanent deal with Colchester before going to Leyton Orient, scoring 36 goals in a season before a move to Wigan in 2017.
This season has seen him hit five goals in 20 games after being hampered by injury. QPR are also said to be interested in a player who can also play as a striker.
