Nottingham Forest theories sparked after PSG ‘meeting’ claim made

Nottingham Forest fans have shared their theories following claims that a meeting has taken place between the club’s chiefs and Paris Saint-Germain CEO Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.

French outlet SPORTS ZONE claim that the Qatari has been in London this weekend, but has continued work on the transfer window. He is said to have held meetings with incoming PSG boss Luis Enrique to discuss potential transfers.

The report also adds that the weekend saw a meeting take place between Al-Khelaïfi and ‘the leaders of Nottingham Forest’. There is, however, no detail given in the report as to what the meeting was about.

That has raised a number of theories among Forest fans, ranging from possible transfer targets in the summer transfer window to potential investment in the club. One thought from fans is potential talks taking place over a deal for goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

The Costa Rican spent the second half of last season on loan with Forest from PSG. He came in to cover for the injured Dean Henderson.

Here’s a look at just some of the theories Forest fans have.
