Nottingham Forest teenager Arvin Appiah is this morning understood to be close to finalising a move to Spain.
The 18-year-old is on the verge of joining La Liga 2 outfit Almeria in a deal understood to be in the region of £8m.
Appiah made his breakthrough for the Reds last season, after coming up through the ranks at the Nigel Doughty Academy.
He scored on his debut in a 3-2 defeat Burton Albion in the League Cup last October and made seven appearances in total last term.
However, he has featured just once during the current campaign under head coach Sabri Lamouchi, in the 1-0 Carabao Cup win over Fleetwood Town at the City Ground.

Appiah could be one of several departures from Forest today, as the transfer window closes for Leagues One and Two and a number of leagues across Europe.
Midfielder Liam Bridcutt is also understood to be one of those likely to head elsewhere, with a loan switch to Bolton Wanderers looking a strong possibility.
The 30-year-old was among a group of players told they were free to move on this summer and has not been part of Lamouchi’s first-team plans.
He last featured in the Garibaldi during that aforementioned loss to the Brewers at the Pirelli Stadium.
