Nottingham Forest team news as Chris Hughton names XI to face Huddersfield Town

Boss Chris Hughton has stuck with an unchanged line-up for Nottingham Forest’s lunchtime clash with Huddersfield Town.

The Reds go into the game looking to extend their unbeaten run to five matches after drawing 0-0 away to Bristol City last time out.

With winger Sammy Ameobi and defender Tobias Figueiredo still struggling with injury, the bench is the same as at Ashton Gate as well.

It means Tyler Blackett keeps his place at left-back, with Yuri Ribeiro among the substitutes. Cyrus Christie will start at right-back, alongside the central defensive partnership of Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna, in front of goalkeeper Brice Samba.

James Garner and Ryan Yates will take up the holding midfield roles.

And with Ameobi sidelined, Anthony Knockaert starts once again, joining Filip Krovinovic and Alex Mighten in an attacking trio supporting lone striker Lewis Grabban.

In addition to Ribeiro, the bench is made up of back-up stopper Jordan Smith, Loic Mbe Soh, Jack Colback, Luke Freeman, Carl Jenkinson, Cafu, Glenn Murray and Lyle Taylor.

With five matches remaining, Hughton’s side are all but assured of Championship safety, just looking for the final few points needed to make absolutely certain.

Ahead of kick-off, they are 16th in the table, with a 10-point cushion above the bottom three.

Forest: Samba, Christie, Worrall, McKenna, Blackett, Garner, Yates, Knockaert, Krovinovic, Mighten, Grabban. Subs: Smith, Ribeiro, Mbe Soh, Colback, Freeman, Jenkinson, Cafu, Murray, Taylor.
