Nottingham Forest team news as boss Chris Hughton names his side to face Luton Town

Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton made just one change to his line-up for his team’s Championship clash at home to Luton Town.

The hosts went into the game looking to make it four games unbeaten after their 1-1 draw against arch-rivals Derby County at Pride Park on Friday night.

And Hughton’s only alteration to to the starting XI which had returned with a point against the Rams was to bring in Joe Lolley for Luke Freeman, who dropped to the bench.

Who was Nottingham Forest's key man against Derby County?

Joe Worrall retained the captain’s armband as he was set to line up alongside Tobias Figueiredo, with Cyrus Christie at right-back and Yuri Ribeiro on the left, ahead of goalkeeper Brice Samba,

Midfielder Ryan Yates did not make the matchday squad, despite being fit after a recurrence of a calf problem had kept him sidelined against the Rams.

It meant James Garner and Cafu would once again line up in midfield.

Lolley would take his place in an attacking trio alongside Filip Krovinovic and Anthony Knockaert.

And with Lewis Grabban still out of action, Glenn Murray retained his spot up front.

Alongside Freeman on the bench would be Jordan Smith, Loic Mbe Soh, Jack Colback, Sammy Ameobi, Carl Jenkinson, Alex Mighten, Tyler Blackett and Lyle Taylor.

Forest: Samba, Christie, Figueiredo, Worrall, Ribeiro, Cafu, Garner, Lolley, Krovinovic, Knockaert, Murray. Subs: Smith, Mbe Soh, Colback, Ameobi, Jenkinson, Freeman, Mighten, Blackett, Taylor.
