'I accept' - Nottingham Forest target sends bizarre City Ground transfer message

Reported Nottingham Forest target Mbaye Diagne has sent a massive hint to Reds fans that he could be poised to move to the City Ground.

The 28-year-old centre-forward scored 11 goals in 17 games to help fire the Turkish giants to the league and cup double in 2019 before being frozen out and sent out on loan to Club Brugge, with whom he’s played Champions League football this season.

Sabri Lamouchi could pay big for £7million rated Senegal international if Forest make a return to the Premier League, claims HITC.

And now the striker, on loan in Belgium from Turkish club Galatasaray, has taken to Instagram to tweet a picture of himself in action in the Champions League with a Forest badge edited into the shot.

Accompanying the post, and translated from French, Diagne has attached the caption: "Destiny is written and the truth remains. Thank you very much, my God. I accept everything you do for me."

The post has caused confusion amongst Reds supporters with news on the rumoured transfer having seemingly gone quiet in recent weeks.

According to Fotospor, a move to England is now on the cards with Championship promotion hopefuls Forest understood to be keen if they get up.

Lamouchi’s men are sat fifth in the Championship, nicely poised for a play-off campaign and chance to return to the English top flight.

But it remains unclear when they will be able to complete any incoming transfers with the window likely to be pushed back beyond the summer.
