Nottingham Forest target Sam Byram to be 'shown the door' by West Ham

Sam Byram is one of nine players who West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is looking to cash in on this summer, according to the Daily Express.

The 25-year-old has become a popular figure on-loan for Nottingham Forest this season, after fighting back from a long-term injury to put in a list of fine performances, and the Reds are understood to be keen to keep him at the City Ground.

Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis claims '£100m deficit' between Nottingham Forest and Boro's spending

On Thursday, it emerged right-back Pablo Zabaleta has penned a new deal with the Hammers that will keep him at the London Stadium until 2020, somewhat denting Byram's chances of making a return to his parent club.

And now it looks like he will be allowed to complete a move away.

The report claims Byram will join Jordan Hugill and Edimilson in being shown the door by boss Pellegrini.

West Ham are said to be targeting permanent moves for all three, but are willing to loan them out should they fail to attract permanent suitors.
