Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling.
The Sun say Forest are keen to take the former Everton and Newcastle man on loan for the rest of the season.
The Reds this week signed Filip Krovinovic on loan from Benfica after he spent the last season-and-a-half on loan with West Brom.
However, Chris Hughton's team have injury problems in midfield with Ryan Yates, Jack Colback and Harry Arter all currently out.
Samba Sow was rested for the FA Cup defeat to Swansea to protect him from injury, meaning Fouad Bachirou played just his second game for the club in front of the back four alongside makeshift midfielder Loic Mbe Soh.
Gosling would bring extensive experience of Premier League and Championship football at the age of 30.
Back in May, Gosling said he hoped to finish his career with the Cherries.
"I've got huge respect for everyone at the club; the chairman, the chief exec, the coaching staff," he told Sky Sports.
"All the people who work behind the scenes are all fantastic people, so I'm very settled here.
"My little one's supposed to be starting school in September. We go on dog walks along the beach, and in the summer our family comes to stay and we have great days out, and they always say how lucky we are living here.
"It's a way of life that suits us. To bring up kids in a place like this, there's not too many better places."
He has made almost 200 appearances for Bournemouth, including 18 this season. However, his only appearance this month was in an FA Cup win against Oldham.
