Nottingham Forest summer 'target' Kamil Grosicki reaffirms wishes for his future to be addressed

Nottingham Forest summer transfer ‘target’ Kamil Grosicki has been speaking about his future at Hull City.

The Tigers forward was linked with a move to the City Ground during the summer transfer window, and has now entered the final 12 months of his contract at the KCOM Stadium.

Various reports suggested that the Reds had a £2.5m bid rejected by Hull during the summer.

Grosicki made his 100th appearance for Hull in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic, after joining the club from Rennes in January 2017.

The future of the Poland international has been the subject of continued speculation and debate since the Tigers were relegated from the Premier League in the summer of 2017.

With Grosicki entering the final 12 months of his contract on Humberside, the 31-year-old has reaffirmed his wishes for his future to be sorted out “as soon as possible”.

“It’s not only my decision so we will see what happens in the future,” Grosicki told Hull Live .

He added: “I am ready to stay and ready to talk about a new contract.

“March is not very far away and I would feel more comfortable if I knew as soon as possible.

“It would be better for everyone. My head would concentrate on football and not what will be happening next. It would make it easier for me.

“I need to think about my future. I am not 20. I need to know what will be the next step. If I know as soon as possible then I will be comfortable and focus on football.”
