Nottingham Forest striker secures loan move - and makes incredible start hours later

Nottingham Forest youngster Will Swann today joined Truro City on loan - and scored twice on his debut a few hours later.

The 19-year-old striker is well regarded within the Nigel Doughty Academy and as such has joined the Cornish side on a month's loan to get a taste of senior football.

He was thrown straight into the starting line-up and was named man of the match for an impressive performance against Met Police.

Truro, who are second in the Southern League Premier Division, were 4-0 winners with Swann scoring twice in the second half.

Before the game, Truro boss Paul Wotton said:  "I'm really pleased. He comes to us with a really good pedigree, he's someone we've had on the radar for awhile now.

"He comes from Nottingham Forest with high regard and its a real coup for us and I'm looking forward to working with him."
