Nottingham Forest's 18-year-old star Arvin Appiah has been rewarded for his work both on and off the field by League Football Education.
The striker, who starred for both Forest and England's youth levels during the season just gone, turned out six times in the Championship on his way to becoming a familiar face among City Ground supporters.
And now Appiah has been named in 'The 11', which acknowledges the progress of the very best under-18 players across the Football League both while playing for their clubs and for their work with the community or charity-based initiatives.
“Arvin has been excellent to work with and really has a desire to be the best he can be. His work ethic and willingness to improve stands him apart," said youth coach Gareth Holmes.
“On top of this, Arvin is an excellent human being who is totally respected by players and staff throughout the club.”
